Sheet Event Sync

Sheet Event Sync is a plugin for the Framer website builder that automatically copies rows from a Google Sheet into a content collection on a user's Framer website, and keeps the two in sync — so the site updates itself whenever the sheet changes, with no manual work.

What Sheet Event Sync does

• The user connects one Google Sheet and one Framer CMS collection.
• Sheet Event Sync reads the sheet on a recurring schedule (every 5 minutes).
• Rows are added, updated, or removed in the Framer CMS to match the sheet, and the website is republished automatically.

Why Sheet Event Sync requests Google account access

To do this, Sheet Event Sync asks the user to sign in with their Google Account and grants it read-only access to Google Sheets (scope .../auth/spreadsheets.readonly), plus basic sign-in identification (scope openid) used only to tell one user's connected sheets apart from another's. Sheet Event Sync never writes to, modifies, or deletes anything in the user's Google Sheets.
